Scene Hairstyle

Scene Hairstyle
The scene culture was spawned from the alternative punk and emo scenes of the 80’s. Today, scene culture has a cult following and the fashion, makeup and hairstyles of the scene culture have evolved to gain unimaginable mainstream popularity. The scene hairstyles are favored by boys and girls alike, who like to express themselves creatively through their clothes, and hairstyles and appearance. Scene hairstyles have a defiant, in-your-face look that is best suited for the younger generation.

Scene hairstyles are characterized by bright shining and unlikely colors like neon green, purple, bright blue orange etc. The colors are worn either in chunks, or in streaks and highlights. Layers and texturing are also very much a part of the scene style and no scene hairdo would be complete without them. The recent trend within the scene style has been to sport long or short fringes which straight, frizzed or wind swept.
