How To Wear Victoria Beckham Haircut

How To Wear Victoria Beckham Haircut - Summer Fall 2009 Hair Tips

It wasn't so long ago that Victoria Beckham was into wearing long hair extensions. However, in recent times, she has been known to wear shorter haircuts.
Victoria Beckham's haircut is often referred to as the asymmetrical bob which is unique to her own and as such, commonly known as the Posh Bob or Pob for short. Victoria Beckham's Pob is somewhere in between messy, tousled, sleek and smooth.

The main objective of this is haircut is to move hair forward and to frame the face; up to the point where your facial features are almost obscure in the way that the hair falls and partly covers one side of the eye. Although the haircut can suit almost any kind of hair texture and volume, be sure to work with a hair stylist with enough skill and expertise and one who is comfortable in texturing your hair via the straight razoring technique. Be sure to get your stylist's opinion on how the Pob can be adapted to suit your own face features.

Among some of the tips for styling the Pob is to use a shampoo and conditioner with texturizing capabilities. Use anti-frizz as well as volumizing mousse throughout your bob haircut. Next, using a blow drier along with a round brush, create movement by brushing hair towards the face area. Contrary to belief, shorter styles of the bob actually require higher maintenance compared to longer ones since you will need a trim regularly (about every 4-6 weeks once). However, the end results are well-worth it!
